As some of you may have noticed, we've had some site problems over the last few days. This is due to a server upgrade by our service provider that included a new version of PHP that didn't play well with our content management system. I've just installed a code patch that should fix the login problems that people have been experiencing. If anyone notices other problems, please let us know.

I'm slowly getting the new forums set up the way we want them--thanks to everyone who's kept posting despite the bugs. I've just installed a new module called Organic Groups which will let us set up restricted forums and will also have other cool applications once I get everything set up. Because of this, you must now join the "Forums" user group in order to access the forums.

Since spammers have killed the Invision forums, I've started setting up new forums using drupal. Right now they're all very basic, but they're better than nothing. I'll be making improvements as time and learning curve allow. You can access the new forums at:

We've finished updating the site to the newest version of drupal. This should fix the ordering problems a few of you have had (though customers outside the U.S. will still need to go through an extra step to avoid problems). We've also added a few extra features, cleaned up things, and finally gotten all the reviews from the old Death Cookie page online.

As you can probably tell, we're in the midst of a CMS upgrade here at Hex. Some unforseen problems are causing things to take a bit longer than expected. The site may be down over the next few days, and there's a chance that some pages will run into errors.

We're going to be doing some updates to the site over the next few days, which might lead to a bit of down time and/or occasional weirdness (for example, if you order a PDF right now, you'll get charged shipping--so hold off a few days on that Reaper Madness order if you can).

The Hex Forums are once again open for business.

The Hex forums have gone down for reasons not yet determined. I'll get them back up ASAP--hopefully by Sunday at the latest.

We'll be upgrading our CMS starting at 12:01 a.m. on October 12. During this time, some or all of the M-Force, Hex Games, and Death Cookie sites may be unavailable. If you wish to submit content, make changes to your account, or place an order, we recommend waiting until morning to prevent problems.
